ABOUT THE PAINTING
Inspiration
My dad was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer this year that presented a tumor next to his heart. This painting is purposefully happy and colorful since my belief is that the way we move through pain in situations we cant control is to try to bring beauty to them. Being so far away and without a magic wand, my studio and my canvas are my temple.
