ABOUT THE PAINTING
Inspiration
This pieces feels like growth to me. It feels calming and fresh. I see my evolution as a painter in this piece. I spent equal time thinking as i did painting. My "usual" process is much more “gut” and less strategy. I feel like I can see myself slowing down here. I’m more at peace, more confident, less cluttered and more directed. The neutral color palette here is also new for me. It was a challenge that I embraced and the outcome was rewarding.
